What is the Legend Pro™?

The Legend Pro™ by Lumenis® is a comprehensive skin rejuvenation platform that can stimulate and revitalize the upper layers of the skin while regenerating collagen and elastin fibers from the deeper dermis. This treatment can reduce wrinkles as well as tighten and smooth the skin without the need for a numbing agent or significant downtime. Legend Pro™ can be thought of as an upgraded version of VoluDerm™ microneedling treatment, with the addition of TriPollar® RF thermal energy and RF-assisted ultra-thin electrodes working to tone the muscle layers of the face (SMAS). How is Treatment with the Legend Pro™ Performed?

Treatment with the Legend Pro™ conveniently takes place in-office at Joyful Living Aesthetics and Regenerative Medicine. Following a discussion of your skin concerns and goals, a custom-made treatment plan will be created according to your unique needs. During treatment, the Legend Pro™ handpiece will be guided over the targeted area(s). While tiny micro-perforations are made on the skin’s surface to regenerate new skin, TriPollar® RF energy delivers controlled heating to the dermal layers to kickstart collagen production. Due to the careful and patient-focused design of the Legend Pro™, there is typically no need for a numbing agent applied to the skin beforehand. While some redness or swelling is to be expected, clients generally report little to no discomfort and resume their normal routines right after treatment. A noticeable improvement to the skin is often immediately apparent, although a series of treatments is recommended to achieve the best possible results. For those clients who may be anxious or admittedly have a low threshold for discomfort, we can offer cooling system to minimize any discomfort.
